Food was really good. Mussels Rhenish style, Leberkäse, original Wiener schnitzel and pork tenderloin with chanterelles, all top. We will be back.

It is always a pleasure to make a small excursion to the Alsace of Erkelenz. In addition to the friendly service, the Maitre stands out for its craftsmanship. The kitchen is authentic. No frills, only very good! The lovingly furnished Gastsube also contributes to linger a little longer.

My husband and I are often here with friends and everyone not only enjoys the excellent food but also the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Alsatian cuisine is particularly noteworthy, but we also always liked every other dish on the varied menu, as well as the seasonal selection (mussels, asparagus, etc.). So: always happy!

Always better to reserve long-term. Food is good, friendly service. If the cook is in a good mood, simply brilliant.

Prices quite high for the rel. small town Erkelenz. There is nothing to say about the taste, but portions are quite clear, no baguette as an appetizer etc. The main dishes are a bit careless without a salad. Overall ok. For 92 EUR for 2 adults and 1 child you can also eat in Düsseldorf on the Rhine bank promenade with the best view without any problems !!!
